1. Why Should I choose Karmic’s Best Odyssey?

We mainly focus in tailor- made trips to Bhutan for all kind of travelers. We not only design trips to suit our clients’ interests but we will see to assure that nothing is left out and will work closely with you to meet all your expectations of a perfect holiday.

2. Why does Bhutan have a fixed tourist Tariff?

The tariff of $250 per person is all inclusive(Please click here to find out what is not included?), on a daily basis tariff and is monitored and regulated by Tourism Council of Bhutan, Keeping in mind the policy of high value low volume. But we as an ultimate agent, will make sure that you reap benefits and satisfaction, worth every penny that you spend.

The tariff for a group of 3 or more person on twin sharing basis: $260 per person per night.
Additional surcharges: for single travelers. $40 per night.
For a group of 2 person is. $ 30 per night.

The daily tariff includes some of the services that we provide are as follows:
a) Accommodation on twin sharing basis.
b) All transfers and sightseeing within the country.
c) All meals
d) Fees for museums and other institutions.
e) 35% goes to government coffer, which is utilized for free education and Medical facilities in Bhutan.

3. How do I get to Bhutan?

You can fly from any of the routes, Singapore, Bangkok, New Delhi, Dhaka and Kathmandu to Paro, our only international airport, using Drukair or Bhutan Airlines. And if you prefer to come by road after travelling in India, you can r enter either from Eastern Bhutan border from Assam state Guwahati or from Phuentsholing, most preferred entrance through West Bengal.

4. How can I book a trip?

You can select from the four listed tour packages (Classic, Active, Family Trip and Local Living) provided by us. This mentioned trips are just the classification of some of the trips that we specialize in. And there is no limitation or restriction/unless put by the government, to the trip style that you want to do it in Bhutan.
We are willing to customize our itineraries, local activities and sight-seeing to best suit the interests and choices of our clients or if you like it we can mold it any ways you like it.

5. When do I make the payments and is it secured?

Tour payments must be made at least two months before the start of your tour. Because visa process will commence only after receiving the full payment of the tour. Payment for your trip should be made in US$ to Bhutan National Bank, in the account of Tourism Council of Bhutan through standard chartered bank in New York, mentioning us as the ultimate beneficiary of the funds.
We will provide the information needed to make the transfer once you decide to travel to Bhutan with us. It is also possible to make payments in sterling via Standard Chartered Bank in London or in Euros via Standard Chartered Bank in Frankfurt and once we receive the confirmation of your payment from the bank ,we will send you a copy of the receipt.

Feel secured as your payment is initially deposited in governments account and will not be released to us (Karmic’s Best Odyssey) until your departure, which is only after your tour. But if you happen to cancel your trip to Bhutan because of any other reasons, it will then be subjected to cancellation charges as per the norms of our country. So in the unlikely event that we do not organise your trip, our government can always refund your money.

6. What kind of hotels do you use for tourists?

We try to arrange the best possible 3 and 4 star rated hotels for our clients, recognized by Tourism Council and the government of Bhutan. And sometimes upon the requests made by the clients we also arrange farm house stay.
